As a rule, the school admits new students only in Form 1 and Form 4 (provided there is available space). Priority shall always be given to learners from the vicinity of the school and biological or foster children of staff members of SOS high school. Since the school is co – educational, effort shall be made to enroll approximately equal numbers of girls and boys.
Learners seeking admission must have passed the Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC), or Junior Certificate (JC) examinations for Form1 and 4, respectively. Admission is usually competitive, so spaces are generally taken up on merit basis. A selection tool may be used to select the required quota of learners. This does not, in any way, suggest that space is reserved for learners with high academic aptitude.
It shall be the policy of the school to admit all learners irrespective of gender, life circumstances or disability. Every effort shall be made to remove attitudinal and physical barriers to inclusive education. Nonetheless, in trying to implement this policy, the school will not stretch itself beyond its capacity. Our classrooms were designed to accommodate not more than 40 learners.
